RIDDLES AND CODES SOLUTIONS

The book contains a number of riddles, and codes which you must solve in order to progress. If you become stuck with any of these, don't worry, you can find all the solutions here.

STEEN'S JOURNAL

Steen has left a Journal outlining what happened to him, but for safety, he has written it in a secret code. There are 6 journal entries all written in this same strange code. You will need to be able to decipher these if you are to progress, but don't worry if you find it difficult to interpret, because the decoded version can be found here.

BK1: 1ST EDITION ERRATA

Known Errata in 1st Print

The 1st Edition has the following errata:

Combat Walkthrough: Attacking - should read: Opponent rolls 3d6 = 5 + 8DS = 13, not 2d6 = 5 + 8DS = 13

Section 13 - the number in the 4rd row, 2nd column, reading 332, should be 318.

Section 89 - the correct answer should be 597, but you must turn to 377 instead (Seablest One is not displayed)

Section 92 - the correct answer should be 377, but you must turn to 597 instead

Section 144 - the correct answer should be 244, but you must turn to 233 instead


Section 302 – should read “If you have the lowest total - Turn to 507”, rather than highest

Section 406 - should also include option to "Offer your devotion at the Kerk of Damzu - Turn to 189"

Known Errata in 1st Print

The 1st Edition has the following errata:

Section 69 - the puzzle solution is inadvertently displayed.

Section 76 - the puzzle solution is inadvertently displayed.

Section 164 - the missing answer does not lead to the correct passage, the number to it's right does (see updated puzzle solutions).

Section 225 - a third option should read: If you have neither - Turn to 580.

Section 268 - Line 2 should read "should someone succeed in freeing Ashpherron".

Section 307 - The Eastern door should lead to 83 and the Western door to 614.

Section 455 - Less than 23 - you settle on 12GP: should read 'Less than 18'.
